Music is the reflection of culture. We proudly present this album from Goma, DRC, to promote peace and freedom of expression.

“Between this universal love of music and everyday life, there is the fight for peace. Transmitting love and promoting peace is an urgent social need that grows daily. Through music, we wish to offer a space of reflection against the absence of peace that continues to suffer children, young people, and adults for over two decades in the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

And yes, singing and dancing the RUMBA is also inspiring and inciting love; playing jazz; music that advocates freedom, ON rumba, makes the fight for freedom and peace exciting.”

Yeremia Vindu is a musician, composer, performer, trumpet player, and singer living in Goma, DR Congo. He embodies this generation of young people who, because the war in Kivu has always been part of their lives, have decided to push a new momentum of awareness for the return of peace through music and art.
